FIRE WATCHERS

As her high school life comes to a close Paige must learn to let her friend group evolve, but the group’s cherished hangout spot is unforeseeably caught aflame.

FIRE WATCHERS is a story about how four kids, Paige, Cocoa, Hornfels, and Cynthia, spend their last year of high school. Paige struggles to communicate her fears about the future to her friends, causing her to drift apart from the group. The future catches up to her when she fails to communicate with her closest friend Cocoa, and the safe space of the Firewatch Tower is threatened by a raging fire. I am currently directing an animated short adaptation as my senior thesis-turned indie project. I currently am directing a team of 14+ animators, artists, voice actors, and merch designers to help this project through to fruition.
